Jayda wanted some portraits that she wasn't smiling in, and asked if I would do that for her. Of course! Senior portraits are about what the senior wants, and some of what Mom and Dad want, too. If the senior isn't happy with their portraits, I've done a disservice to them. Jayda was pretty happy with her serious poses and expressions, even though she looks like she's about to crack a smile here.
We were able to get some nature and urban photos during Jayda's session. Old Colorado City offers a multitude of different backgrounds for an urban senior portrait session, while still allowing for a ton of different looks.
While we walked from spot to spot in Old Colorado City, I asked Jayda what she was most looking forward to in her senior year. Her immediate response was basketball season with her best friends, followed closely by enjoying this last year of high school with the friends she's made these past few years.
